Pinellas County invites public feedback on potential changes to stormwater manual

Pinellas County is hosting a second public meeting to collect feedback on potential changes to the Pinellas County Stormwater Manual. This important manual outlines the requirements for managing stormwater in the construction of buildings and site development in unincorporated Pinellas County.

This in-person meeting will start with a presentation by the County's consultant company that is conducting the review of the manual, followed by an open house where attendees will be able to engage in discussion with representatives. The initial presentation will provide an overview of the study efforts, including:

  • An overview of the Pinellas County Stormwater Manual's technical requirements
  • A review of the County's Stormwater Manual compared to the State and other local municipalities
  • An economic impact trending assessment
  • Preliminary findings and recommendations for updating the manual.

This meeting will be informative for stakeholders who attended the first public input meeting and those who did not.

The meeting is open to anyone who lives or works in Pinellas County. It may be of particular interest to:
