Register now for KPB Youth Environmental Leadership Program
Young people who are interested in becoming environmental leaders in our community are invited to join Keep Pinellas Beautiful for a FREE five days of exciting, hands-on, skill-building activities with environmental scientists and community leaders!
Kids can earn service hours while turning their ideas into actions that will protect the environment. The program will be held at Boyd Hill Nature preserve, 1101 Country Club Way South in St. Petersburg, July 10-14, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
What participants can expect:
- Develop skills to inspire others through environmental leadership
- Gain an understanding of marine debris and other environmental issues
- Engage with experts in the environmental field
- Acquire tools and experience to create motivational messaging
- Participate in canoeing and cleanup activities
- Earn hours for Bright Futures Scholarship requirements
