Keep Pinellas Beautiful announces International Coastal Cleanup sites, Sept. 17-Oct. 16

One of the greatest threats to the health of our waterways lies in the garbage. A large part of our mission at Keep Pinellas Beautiful involves tackling the very dangerous and unending problem: Litter and trash. We strive to achieve this goal through community cleanup efforts and education about the dangers of litter.

In partnership with the Ocean Conservancy, Keep Pinellas Beautiful will be coordinating the International Coastal Cleanup at numerous sites throughout Pinellas County with our dedicated site captains, volunteers and team members. We invite you to join our efforts!

Volunteer advance registration is not necessary for walkup sites. Groups consisting of 10 or more volunteers are encouraged to call the KPB office (727-533-0402) so that we will not have too many volunteers at one location.
