Radio show discusses water conservation and tax credits
The Thursday, April 2, edition of the No Place Like Home radio show will focus on water conservation and the Earned Income Tax Credit. The show is sponsored by the Housing Finance Authority of Pinellas County.
Brian Niemann, UF/IFAS Extension Pinellas County agent, will discuss tips to help residents conserve water, classes that are available at Pinellas County Extension and the annual Green Thumb Festival.
Eddie Burch, communications and outreach coordinator with the Juvenile Welfare Board, will provide information about the Earned Income Tax Credit and benefits available to working individuals. Many residents are unaware this tax benefit is available. Free tax preparation locations will also be discussed.
