Register by Sept. 17th for 2014 Cross Bayou/Joe’s Creek Cleanup

It's time for the annual cleanup of Cross Bayou and Joe's Creek, presented in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful, and the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup.

When: Saturday, September 20, 2014 (schedule below)
Where: Meet at the corner of 78th Street and 70th Avenue North.
Bring: Comfortable clothing, closed-toed shoes, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a camp chair or towel to sit on during lunch.

Life Jackets are required for this event.

Event Schedule
8:00am - 8:30am: volunteer sign in & safety tips
8:30am - 11:00am: trash collection
11:00am –11:30am: return to registration area & sort recyclables
11:30am - 12:30pm: lunch, exhibitor social, & raffle giveaways*
*must be present to win

Trash grabbers, bags, gloves, and water will be provided.
NOW we have a water truck for cleaning off your kayaks & canoes after the event!
We’re providing lunch and a free drawing for raffle prizes so please register.

We’ll be launching from the Pinellas County Property at the corner of 78th Street N and 70th Ave N. From Park Blvd head south on 78th St N and continue to the end of the road. Enter the gate & follow signs. Bring your own or borrow a canoe/kayak... No sea-legs? We still need your help on land!
