Boil Water notice for Tierra Verde/Fort De Soto Park rescinded

Residents in Tierra Verde and visitors to Fort De Soto Park are advised that the mandatory boil water notice has been rescinded on Monday, Feb. 3 at 9 p.m. Normal water use can resume immediately.

Water samples confirmed that there was no contamination from a potable water supply pipe that broke along the Pinellas Bayway. Pinellas County issued the mandatory boil water notice on Saturday, Feb. 1 pursuant to the Florida Department of Health regulations.

Fort De Soto Park will reopen to the public with normal business hours on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Visit this link for additional information about the park.
