Courtney Campbell Causeway boat ramp to close for improvements beginning Oct. 21

The east side of the Courtney Campbell boat ramp in Tampa will close beginning on Monday, Oct. 21 at 6 a.m. for dock replacement. The west side will remain open; however, there may be delays during this time. The area under construction is located on the north side of the causeway and east of the Courtney Campbell Causeway main bridge.

The west dock and ramp will be closed and replaced once the east side re-opens. The entire project is expected to last approximately two months, and includes repaving and restriping of the boat ramp parking area.

This project is funded through state boat licensing fees and is part of ongoing maintenance. Similar maintenance was recently completed at the Salty Sol Boat Ramp on Gandy Boulevard.
