Call for Volunteers for Thursday!

Volunteers are needed September 12th, 8:00 am-11:00 am

Are you good with a shovel? Then KTBB needs you! We need help moving dirt at our Florida Learning Garden site, in preparation for a drainage pipe installation. Volunteers are needed from 8 am-11 am on 9/6 at the Florida Learning Garden, located at the Florida State Fairgrounds. There is no need for advanced sign-up, simply come the morning of with closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get dirty.

Directions to the Florida Learning Garden:

The Florida Learning Garden Site is located at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Volunteers may enter the service gate from the Orient Road entrance, and may pass through by mentioning they are volunteering for Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful. Once through the gate, take a right at the stop sign, and continue to follow the road for about 0.2 miles. The garden will be on the right, across from the agriculture building. There's a shell pathway, greenhouse with plastic tarp, and grow beds, so it should be easy to spot. Please contact us (813) 221-8733 with any questions.
